Kate Dicks has over 25 years of experience in investigating civil/structural engineering issues to determine the cause of the problem and develop recommended repairs.  Ms. Dicks has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Georgia Tech.  She also holds professional engineering licenses in several states.  Her engineering education, background, and experience provide her with the required knowledge and ability to investigate any civil/structural engineering problem.  She inspects structures to determine the cause and extent of damage from numerous sources, including vibration damage, foundation damage, impact damage, fire damage, and storm damage.  She also evaluates structures for construction/design deficiencies, including as related to building code compliance.  She provides expert witness services in litigation cases and has been qualified as an expert in deposition, arbitration, and trial testimony.
